Revalidation of registration for CA-CPT/ IPCC/ FINAL Course

  • The revised scheme of revalidation came into effect from 1st January, 2013 and shall be applicable to CPT, IPCC, FINAL students .

APPLICABILITY OF THE SCHEME

Common Proficiency Course Students :

  • Initial registration for common proficiency course (CPC) is valid for 3 years .
  • Each revalidation shall be valid for 3 years .
  • Fee for revalidation is Rs. 300 /- for each revalidation .
  • Students should ensure that they have valid registration before applying form for Common Proficiency Test (CPT) .
  • In order to create awareness among the students it has been decided that no revalidation fees shall be charged upto 31st December, 2013 .
  • Accordingly CPTstudents who have registered on or before 31st December, 2010 are advised to apply for revalidation till 31st Dec, 2013 without paying any revalidation fee and get eligibility to attend for June, 2014 examinations onwards for 3 years from the date of revalidation .
  • In case any student fails to apply for revalidation by 31st Dec, 2013 he/ she shall have to apply on or after 1st Jan, 2014 for revalidating the registration with prescribed fee as stated above .

Intermediate (Integrated Professional Competence) Course Students :

  • Initial registration for IPCC is valid for 4 years .
  • Fee for revalidation is Rs. 400 /- for each revalidation .
  • Students who have registered for the course, on or before 1st Dec, 2009 and completing their 4 years validity period till 31st Dec, 2013 are advised to apply for revalidatiin till 31st Dec, 2013 without paying any revalidation fee .
  • In case any student fails to apply for revalidation by 31st Dec, 2013 he/ she shall have to apply on or after 1st Jan, 2014 for revalidating the registration with prescribed fee as stated above .
  • Students should ensure that they have valid registration before applying for the examinations .
  • Students who have registered in Intermediate/ Professional Education (Course II)/ Professional Competence Course(PCC) are required to switch over to Intermediate (IPC) course in order to continue the Chartered Accountancy course .

Final Students :

  • Initial registration for Final Course is valid for 5 years .
  • Fee for revalidation is Rs. 500 /- for each revalidation 
  • Students who have registered for Final course, on or before 31st Dec, 2008 (Including students who have shifted from OLD Final course to NEW Final course) and completing their 5 years validity period till 31st Dec, 2013 are advised to apply for revalidation till 31st Dec, 2013 without paying any revalidation fee .
  • Each revalidation is valid for 5 years .
  • In case any student fails to apply for revalidation by 31st Dec, 2013 he/ she shall have to apply on or after 1st Jan, 2014 for revalidating the registration with prescribed fee as stated i.e Rs.500/- .
  • Students should ensure that they have valid registration before applying for the examinations.

NOTE :Students who have registered in Intermediate/ Professional Education (Course II)/ Professional Competence Course(PCC) are required to switch over to Intermediate (IPC) course inorder to continue the Chartered Accountancy course .

                   The Revalidation shall be made in the given format

  • Date of registration to the current course :
  • Date of expiry of the current course registration :
  • Payment of revalidation fee (if any) in the form of Demand Draft :
  • Finally form should contain your signature . 
NOTE : Draw a Demand Draft in favour of :
" The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Payable at Mumbai/ Chennai/ Kanpur/ kolkatta/ New Delhi" as the case may be and send to the concerned decentralized office where the registration was done .
