Procedure for Registration Under Direct Entry Scheme

Hi friends...., Hope everyone have gone through the new Scheme introduced by ICAI i.e. Direct Entry for both CPT and IPCC students. But there are lots of doubts regarding this in the minds of students. Let me clarify you to some extent.

Friends make it fast as 31st July is the last date for registration. So that you will get your IPCC attempt for next May i.e. May 2014. If you fail to do within the Specified date your IPCC attempt will be six months later i.e. for 2014 November .

The common doubts are

who can get registered........? 

As I already said in my previous post its the Graduates or Post - Graduates of commerce or non-commerce graduate who has been passed out with 55% or 60% respectively can get registered under this Direct Entry.

What is the Fee....?

Students who have already registered for CPT and IPCC and also graduates with prescribed % of marks has to go for conversion. For more detailed info look below.......

For Existing CPT Students

CPT students who are Graduates/ Post Graduates with 55 or 60% marks.	Register for Both Groups	Eligible for admission to three years articled training, on completion of - (a) Information Technology Training (ITT); and (b) Orientation Course	On completion of nine months of practical training (which include study course for a period of eight months concurrently commences from the date of registration to the Course).	Conversion Fee -500
				Registration fee for Both Groups -9000
				Articled Registration Fee -2000
				ATC (Optional ) Fee -1000
				Orientation - 3000
				ITT - 4000
CPT students who have qualified Intermediate level of ICWAI/ICSI	Register for Group I or Both Groups	a) On passing either Both Groups/ 1st Group of Intermediate (lPC) Examination; (b) Completion of Information Technology Training (ITT); and (c) Completion of Orientation Course	After undergoing a study course for a period of eight months which shall commence from the date of registration to the Course	Conversion Fee -500
				Registration fee for Both Groups - 9000  or Registration fee for 1st Group - 8000
				ATC (Optional ) Fee - 1000
				Articled Registration Fee - 2000
				Orientation - 3000
				ITT   - 4000

For Existing IPCC Students

IPCC students who are Graduates/ Post Graduates with 55 or 60% marks and have passed Group II of the IPCE	Register for 1st Group if not registered for Both Groups	Eligible for admission to three years articled training, on completion of - (a) Information Technology Training (ITT); and (b) Orientation Course	On completion of nine months of practical training (which include study course for a period of eight months concurrently commences from the date of registration to the Course).	Conversion Fee-500
				Registration fee for 1st Group, if not paid earlier
				1st Group	7000

				Articled Registration Fee, if not paid earlier - 2000

For Existing PE-II Students

PE-II/ Erstwhile Intermediate stream students not converted to PCC/ IPCC and have not passed either of the Groups but opts for Intermediate (IPC) Course under Direct Entry Scheme by fulfilling the requirement of 55 or 60% marks in Graduate/ Post Graduates.	Register for Both Groups by paying conversion fee and articled registration fee	Eligible for admission to three years articled training, on completion of - (a) Information Technology Training (ITT); and (b) Orientation Course	On completion of nine months of practical training (which include study course for a period of eight months concurrently commences from the date of registration to the Course).	Conversion Fee 500
				Articled Registration Fee - 2000
				ATC (Optional ) Fee -1000
				Payable for undergoing the IT Training, if not completed earlier: ITT -4000

Note: 

Students registered for Intermediate (IPC) Course and Articled Training upto 30th September, 2012 are advised to also refer above Important Announcement No. BoS/Announcement/227/12 (2) dated 16th August, 2012 for relaxation in the eligibility criteria for appearing in the Intermediate (Integrated Professional Competence) Examination to be held in May, 2013.

For Existing PCC Students

Situation	Requirement of registration	Requirement to undergo articled training	Examination Eligibility	Fee payable as per existing fee structure – (in Rs.)
PCC students who opts for Intermediate (IPC) Course. Students may continue to appear in the last Professional Competence Examination (PCE) to be held in November, 2012 and thereafter shall be required to shift to Intermediate (IPC) Course in order to appear in Intermediate (IPC) Examination to be held from May, 2013 onwards.	Register for Both Groups	Complete Computer Training Programme or Information Technology Training, if not completed earlier. Complete remaining period of practical training of three and half years. If terminated then reregister. (Orientation Course is exempted for this category of students	*On completion of nine months of practical training (which include study course for a period of eight months concurrently commences from the date of registration to the Course).	Conversion Fee - 500
				ATC (Optional ) Fee -1000
				Payable for undergoing the IT Training, if not completed earlier: ITT - 4000

*It is clarified that students who have already fulfilled the above requirement shall be eligible to appear in the May, 2013 examination. Those students who have not fulfilled the above requirement shall be required to re-register for articled training and fulfil the above requirement so as to become eligible for appearing in the said examination

Enclosures to be Attached:

1. Demand Draft/ Pay Order.
2. Attested copy of Graduation/ Post Graduation mark sheet or Intermediate examination pass marks statement of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India / Institute of Company Secretary of India attested by a CA / Gazzeted officer/ College Principal.
3. SSC/10th Standard Certificate as a proof of indicating Date of Birth.
4. For provisional registration, copy of certificate obtained from college as a proof for pursuing final year graduation.
5. Attested copy of Certificate of SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled person.
