Validity Period for CA-CPT registration


  • Initial Registration is valid for 3 years
  • It can be re-validated for further 3 years before expiry of initial registration.
  • Re-validation can be done any number of times before the expiry of the earlier re-validation period.
  • 300/- Rs. Fee for every Re-validation.
Note : 
If a student fails to have a valid registration at the time of writing CPT exam then he/she should pay penalty of Rs. 250/-. within 30 days prior to the date of declaration of result.




candidates whose period of  initial registration has expired may apply for re-validation by making an application on plain paper together with the prescribed fee by way of DD (Demand Draft) drawn in the favour of The Secretary , The Institute of Chartered Accountant of India , Payable at Mumbai / Chennai / Kolkata / Kanpur / Delhi as the case may be and forward the same to the Decentralised office concerned at Mumbai , Chennai , Kolkata , Kanpur and Delhi.
