Hi friends, first of all congrats to those who cleared the 1st milestone in CA i.e. CA - CPT and a grand welcome to those who completed their graduation. As you all know that ICAI has introduced a new scheme i.e. Direct Entry. This is great opportunity to those who completed their graduation and are willing to join CA. The Pass Percentage of CPT is only 30%. But as of now CPT is exempted for graduates and they can directly enter into the next level in CA i.e. IPCC.
Eligibility
- The candidate who cleared his / her CPT or
- The candidate should be a Graduate with more than minimum prescribed marks.
IPCC Registration for those who cleared CPT
The student after clearing CPT has to register himself for IPCC as IPCC registration is not automatic. The candidate who is willing to continue with the next level in CA have to submit the IPCC Registration Form.
The fee for the IPCC registration is payable by way of Demand Draft / pay order drawn in the favor of 'The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountant of India Payable at Mumbai / Chennai / Kolkata / Kanpur / Delhi in accordance with the address of the student.

IPCC Registration For Those Who Completed Their Graduation
The candidates who are willing to Choose CA as their Career after Graduation they need not Attempt CPT. They can directly enter into Articleship immediately after their graduation (only after completing 100 hrs ITT couching and Orientation) without appearing for CA Inter exams. The candidates who are entering CA through Direct Entry Scheme should complete 9 months of their aticleship and then only they are eligible to appear for CA Inter exams.
